Why Cool Earth?

“Supporting initiatives for the betterment of health, education and environment has been in Nordgreen’s CSR program since the very beginning and has been at the core of everything we do. Cool Earth has been a natural choice for us when it comes to protecting the environment, as the Amazon rainforests are the lungs of our planet, and their preservation is vital.

We believe that in order to bring change in such remote areas of the world, we need to work closely with an organisation that empowers the local communities who inhabit these areas and are directly impacted by the disastrous effects of deforestation. The mission of Cool Earth resonates completely with our views, and we are truly thankful to be able to work towards tackling deforestation together.”

What Makes Nordgreen Climate Optimists?

Are we optimistic about the future of the climate? More so than we were last year. There is still so much to be done. And it can appear to be daunting. But the groundswell of acceptance that there is a problem, and the apparent increased level of action rather than pontificating and empty words give us hope.

Internal Initiatives

We are doing our best to implement that mindset across our entire scope of work, yet there is always room for improvement. Currently, we offset our carbon emissions and plastic use by partnering with various NGOs. The electricity at our Copenhagen HQ is sourced from renewable energy sources and we are working towards having zero waste by recycling everything we use. We encourage our team to cycle to and from work and to take public transport, as we promote the philosophy that no contribution is ever insignificant, because change is the result of the sum of all individual actions.
