Houses on ocean front, with tall palm trees behind and rainforest behind them in Papua New Guinea

More Cash. Less Deforestation.

Big news!

Thanks to our amazing supporters, Cool Earth has upped funding for two communities in Peru and all five of the communities we work with in Papua New Guinea. That means more financial security, stronger communities, and less rainforest destruction.

The Cool Earth way

At Cool Earth, we do things differently. Instead of telling rainforest communities how to protect their land, we trust them by sending no-strings-attached cash directly to the people who live there.

They decide what’s most important, whether it’s food, healthcare, education, or community projects. Because when people have what they need to thrive, they can say no to illegal loggers and other threats to the rainforest.

More Support, Bigger Impact

Life in the rainforest isn’t easy, and with the cost of living rising everywhere, it’s hitting Indigenous communities too. Essentials like food and medicine are getting more expensive, making our support even more crucial.

By increasing cash transfers, we’re making sure communities can keep going strong, without being forced to sell land just to get by.

This Is All Thanks to You

To everyone who donates to Cool Earth: you’re making this happen. Your support is giving people the power to protect their homes, their futures, and some of the most important rainforests on Earth.

And here’s the simple truth, when people have financial security, they don’t have to sell their land. When the land stays in their hands, the rainforest stays standing. And when the rainforest stays standing, we all win. More carbon is stored, more biodiversity protected and a healthier planet for all of us.

This is just the beginning. Donate now and we can keep delivering vital support to communities, keeping more rainforest safe.
