What is Stream for Cool Earth?

Stream for Cool Earth is a new wave of climate action. It’s a radical way to support rainforest communities on the front line of the climate emergency through streaming.

You can raise money to support Cool Earth by hosting a fundraising stream on a platform of your choice (e.g. Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live) and integrate a way for your community to make donations through Tiltify.

How do I stream for Cool Earth?

We like to keep things simple, so we’ve broken it down to get you up and streaming.

1. Set up your fundraising page on Tiltify
2. To get started, visit Cool Earth’s Tiltify and click “Start Fundraising”. Tiltify can connect with your Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook Live. If you haven’t previously registered with Tiltify, follow the instructions to get signed up and begin fundraising.
3. Download your Cool Earth Streaming Toolkit. This has everything you need to kit out your stream with all things rainforest, climate change, and Cool Earth.

What is Tiltify?

Tiltify equips streamers with everything needed to raise funds for causes you care about. Once you’re signed up, you can start rallying support for Cool Earth through your Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook Live channels. How does my donation help protect rainforests?

The cash raised from your stream will go directly towards protecting 377,000 hectares of vital forest through our work alongside the ultimate rainforest guardians – the Indigenous peoples who live there.

Indigenous communities living in the rainforest are true conservation experts, and they have nurtured and protected their forests for thousands of years. By supporting those who live alongside and protect these forests, we help ensure the rainforest stays standing and helps cool our planet.

In fact, our work alongside Indigenous peoples has reduced deforestation by up to 82% in the New Guinea Forest.

What information about me does Tiltify share with Cool Earth?

When you choose to donate through Tiltify, your screen name, email address, donation amount, fundraiser name, and team information will be shared with Cool Earth.
